Fingerprints DAO

"The Fingerprints DAO collection is founded on the principle that it’s the smart contract, not the token, that is the art. For an artwork to be eligible for our collection, it must derive artistic value from a creative use of smart contracts. While it may be early, we believe that smart contract art, leveraging the full power of the blockchain, is one of the most significant artistic developments of this century.

Every artwork that enters our collection is assessed within a framework composed of four main categories. These categories reflect the most innovative features and uses of smart contracts. An artwork is included in a category if the corresponding feature is an integral part of its aesthetics or conceptual thrust. Once an artwork meets this requirement, a separate assessment is made as to whether that work is a Tier 1 example of its category. This judgment is made collectively by DAO members and then executed on by the Curation and Acquisition Committee. The categories are:
